Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Johnston-Willis Hospital. As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and record patient conditions, utilizing computerized documentation systems
  • Participate in a teamwork environment, helping everyone in the department
  • Coordinate patient care with other disciplines, ensuring well-coordinated care
  • Participate in On-Call rotation with a call back time of 30 minutes
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Experience in PACU required
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia through the Board of Health Professions or Current Compact Multistate License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification
  • PALS certifications preferred
