Material Handler Job Description

Paradigm is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team in Beaverton, Oregon. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver materials to the point of consumption in response to Kanban signals
  • Store and retrieve parts in the warehouse using a first-in first-out process
  • Accurately perform inventory transactions and adjustments
  • Participate in daily Tier 1 Daily Management System (DMS) meetings
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects
  • Keep the work area well organized and clean
  • Assist with performing cycle counts
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years related work experience
  • Ability to work from 5:00 am-3:30 pm shift
  • Forklift certification or ability to become certified
  • Training in and experience with Lean manufacturing principles preferred
  • Familiarity with computers and Windows-based applications
  • Ability to adjust work pace in response to daily production data
  • Ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Able to multi-task and be flexible in a dynamic work environment
