Job Summary

Ryder is seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL A Regional to join our team. As a Regional Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customers across the country while ensuring the highest level of safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination vehicle to transport goods from one location to another.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Load and unload freight, and assist in the loading/unloading of freight as required.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Communicate with dispatchers and other drivers to coordinate routes and schedules.
Requirements
  • Class A CDL with a valid endorsement for the position.
  • At least 9 months of experience in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle within the past 3 years.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
