Job Overview

Frontier Cooperative is seeking an Agriculture Specialist to join our team at the Silver Creek, NE location. This role will involve managing the day-to-day activities in the Chemical Shed, working closely with Operations, Grain, and Agronomy departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule Management: Assist applicators and agronomists with preparing pre-determined amounts of liquid and dry chemicals and fertilizers for customers.
  • Inventory Control: Manage, mix, load, and transfer liquid nitrogen and bulk chemicals onto tender trucks, documenting chemical inventories and creating blend tickets.
  • Warehouse Operations: Assist operations departments with warehouse, elevator, weighing truck, and scale operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Agricultural Experience: Preference given to those with experience in the agriculture industry; extensive paid training offered after hire.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills required to provide excellent customer service and work collaboratively within the company.
  • Mechanical Abilities: Skilled mechanical abilities preferred but not required.
