Position Overview:
We are seeking an Oracle Fusion Software Engineer with a robust background in both Oracle Fusion and Oracle Database. Proficiency in Oracle Fusion is essential, while experience with Oracle Database is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Oracle OSB (Oracle Service Bus) for application development.
- Java programming skills are considered an advantage.
- A background in Financial or Supply Chain sectors is a significant benefit.

The Oracle Fusion Software Engineer will be primarily tasked with the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of IT applications within the Oracle Fusion ecosystem. This role involves collaboration with clients across various organizational levels to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions that enhance user productivity.
Technical Skills Required:
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware, including SOA, OSB, and Java development.
- Conduct planning, coding, testing, and migration of applications across diverse technical environments.
- Design user interfaces, system architecture, software patterns, and data models to meet both immediate and future business needs.
- Ensure adherence to application standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with upstream and downstream application teams and infrastructure teams to guarantee the overall success of applications.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution, including maintaining documentation and coordinating user involvement.
- Exhibit strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Conduct research into software-related challenges and solutions.
- Effectively prioritize and execute tasks within deadlines.
- Work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience with Oracle Fusion SOA, OSB, and Java, along with familiarity with operating systems such as Linux and Windows. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential.
Preferred Knowledge:
Familiarity with Java application servers like Oracle WebLogic, Apache, or IBM WebSphere, as well as internet technologies such as HTML, XML, WSDL, and scripting languages. Knowledge of SDLC processes in development projects, along with PL/SQL programming using Oracle Database, TOAD/SQL Developer, and understanding of cloud technologies and solutions. Experience in the utility industry is also advantageous.
Certifications:
Certification or training in Java application servers, cloud solutions, and Oracle PL/SQL is a valuable addition.
