Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high-quality, efficient care in a medical surgical environment.

You will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of Med/Surg patients, instructing them and their families regarding medications and treatment instructions.

Maintaining and reviewing patients' records, including posting tests and examination results, is also an essential part of your role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medications in accordance with physician orders

Requirements

  • Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred
  • Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
