Crescens is seeking a skilled Budget Analyst to join our team. As a Budget Analyst, you will play a critical role in assisting the Information Technology Division (ITD) with designing budget processes to adhere with the State and CLIENT finance team submission requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with CLIENT's finance team to ensure templates and processes implemented align with the needs of ITD.
  • Assist with the establishment of templates, procedures, and documentation for ITD to maintain new changes and processes.
  • Reconcile and validate invoices for budget planning.
  • Provide budget projections and forecasts for the budget year and subsequent budget years.
  • Generate presentations and documents for budget spending plans.
  • Align ITD funding requests with finance's guidelines to ensure requests are consistent with budget projections and requirements.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documentation for budget projections, review, and reconciliation.
  • Assist ITD leadership with strategic planning, including the development of financial presentations and analysis.
  • Review monthly and quarterly reports and invoices to identify variances and trends, making recommendations to resolve issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 3-5 years of financial analysis and reporting experience.
  • Financial consolidation experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Experience in researching, planning, forecasting, summarizing financial data.
  • Ability to review historical financial data and trends to prepare and validate budget estimates.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, verify, and consolidate financial information and statistical data.
Additional Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and assess, respond to, and communicate issues in a timely manner.
  • Build positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
