Job Summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in a reputable healthcare facility.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.
  • Provide respiratory care to patients per physician orders and established policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
  • Maintain effective communication with management, coworkers, facility staff, patients, and their families.
  • Provide education and instruction to patients and other caregivers on respiratory therapy methods and objectives.
  • Accurately and legibly maintain and update patient records.
Requirements
  • Respiratory Therapist credential by the NBRC, and CPR certification required.
  • Eighteen months of respiratory care experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
