Position Summary:

As a Rental Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales through exceptional customer service, assisting clients with rental gear, and ensuring our guests have the necessary equipment and services for an unforgettable outdoor adventure.

Position Specifications:

  • Outlet: Mountain Sports Outlet
  • Expected Compensation: $20.00 per hour
  • Availability: Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities
  • Experience Level: Entry-level

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service in a retail environment
  • Assist guests in selecting appropriate equipment - training will be provided
  • Educate guests on the use of rental gear, safety protocols, and their responsibilities during the rental period
  • Collaborate with team members to uphold safety standards
  • Perform additional tasks such as cashiering and retail sales as needed
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
  • Dedication to providing exceptional customer service
  • Maintain a strong understanding of products and trends in the outdoor industry
  • Ability to remain active and engaged in a team-oriented setting for extended periods
  • Fluency in English is required

A Rental Associate is a versatile team member who may work across various departments and roles to support our unified resort approach, which may include:

  • Mountain Activities
  • Retail Rental Operations
  • Food and Beverage Assistance
  • Ticket Sales or Scanning
  • Lift Operations
  • Base Area Operations

The anticipated pay range for this position is $20.00 per hour. This reflects the compensation we expect to offer for this role, with individual pay decisions influenced by various factors.
