Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and thorough Room Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of guest accommodations and public spaces. The ideal candidate will ensure that all rooms and public areas meet hotel and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and prioritize room assignments from the supervisor
  • Follow sign-in and sign-out procedures for room access
  • Check and restock cleaning carts with necessary supplies
  • Knock and announce before entering rooms, and return at a later time if occupied
  • Notify the supervisor of any damage or strong odors in rooms
  • Remove and replace linens, towels, and other amenities according to hotel policies
  • Thoroughly clean and disinfect bathrooms and kitchenettes
  • Disinfect high-touch areas and surfaces
  • Check and restock complimentary coffee, snacks, and toiletry supplies
  • Ensure rooms meet hotel and brand standards with a final walkaround
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented and thorough in work
  • Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant and friendly manner
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in basic English
  • Ability to be flexible and work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
Work Environment

The Room Attendant will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, frequently standing, walking, and bending. The role requires frequent stair climbing, squatting, and reaching, as well as the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
