About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Overnight Custodian to join our Studio Operations team at Warner Bros. Discovery. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our studio backlot offices and buildings.

Responsibilities
  • Perform heavy cleaning duties throughout our studio backlot offices and buildings, including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and vacuuming floors.
  • Keep building and property in clean and orderly condition, including gathering and emptying trash, scrubbing and sanitizing restroom facilities, and dusting furniture, walls, and equipment.
  • Mix cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers in preparation for cleaning, following procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Drive golf carts between buildings to transport cleaning supplies, both within the studio lot and on public roads to get to other company buildings off-lot.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of large commercial facilities janitorial experience, preferably in a medical center, school campus, or major hotel setting.
  • Working knowledge of English and ability to communicate effectively with team members.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time, as well as perform repetitive motion for extended periods.
  • Experience with using cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and cleaning solutions.
  • Background in handling, mixing, and using cleaning chemicals, as well as knowledge of occupational hazards safety rules.
  • Valid CA Driver's License, with a record of safe driving and at least 6 months of driving history.
