Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Samaritan Health Services. As an Emergency Department nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:
This position requires a registered nurse with experience in emergency nursing or critical care. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide direct and indirect patient care, utilizing the nursing process to ensure safe and effective outcomes.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to provide age-appropriate patient care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements:
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification
- ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications required within six months of hire
- Previous ED nurse experience preferred

Working Conditions:
The Emergency Department is a dynamic and challenging environment that requires adaptability and flexibility. You will be expected to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies while maintaining a high level of patient care.

Physical Demands:
This role requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 pounds, as well as occasional bending and squatting. Manual dexterity and finger dexterity are also required for tasks such as pushing and pulling medical equipment.

Salary Range:
$90,000 - $120,000 per year based on experience.
