Job Description

The Compliance and Risk Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining compliance with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain compliance with OSHA regulations by developing, implementing, and monitoring workplace safety programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, hazard assessments, and inspections to identify and resolve safety issues.
  • Lead investigations into workplace incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), ISO Lead Auditor (14001/45001), or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HSE experience, preferably in an automotive manufacturing or industrial environment.
