Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics expertise to join our team at Sea Mar Community Health Centers. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality primary medical care services to our patients, with a focus on obstetrics and gynecology.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary medical care services to patients, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Prescribe and dispense medications as needed, in accordance with Washington State Board guidelines.
- Participate in organizing and directing preventive health programs, including immunization, disease detection, and disease prevention activities.
- Develop and implement educational programs for patients and community groups, with approval from the Medical Director and/or Health Center Administrator.
- Participate in clinical affairs, working with administrative personnel, the Medical Director, and the Chief Medical Officer to improve the patient care experience.
Requirements:
- License to practice medicine in the state of Washington.
- Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency; board certification in the appropriate specialty or actively seeking board certification.
- A current DEA certificate.
- Uphold all current vaccine requirements for employment.
- Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
- Prior community health experience is preferred.
