This role is situated within our Plant 5, Ti-Cast and HIP Operations. The responsibilities encompass the execution of a preventative maintenance program in collaboration with engineering and maintenance personnel; participating in plant safety evaluations; supervising repair operations for breakdowns; overseeing preventative maintenance activities; liaising with external contractors; coordinating office relocations and reorganizations; directing equipment maintenance; and ensuring the upkeep of the facility.

Essential Duties:

  • Leads a proficient team; includes planning and conducting meetings, managing performance evaluations, overseeing staffing levels (including vacations and leaves), supporting career development (motivating, coaching, and training for optimal quality, productivity, morale, and cooperation), approving attendance records, and prioritizing work assignments.
  • Provides constructive feedback to team members, both positive and negative, while maintaining proper documentation for any disciplinary actions.

  • Ensures adherence to the collective bargaining agreement and acts as a liaison between management and union representatives, addressing grievances as needed.

  • Schedules production and team operations.
  • Reviews production and operational reports, resolving manufacturing and maintenance challenges to minimize costs and prevent operational disruptions.
  • Inspects machinery and equipment to guarantee optimal operational performance and utilization.
  • Promotes EHS and a culture of continuous improvement.
