The Surgical Support Technician, under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, provides essential services to patients undergoing surgical procedures while ensuring a sterile environment. The technician plays a key role in the safe transportation of patients.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent.

EDUCATION PREFERRED: Completion of a Scrub Technician training program.

EXPERIENCE: Prior experience as a Surgical Support Technician is preferred.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS/ABILITIES: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required (must be obtained during the provisional period).
