Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Genpak. As an integral part of our manufacturing process, this role is responsible for performing electrical and mechanical repairs on Extruders, Thermoformers, and ancillary systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a full complement of tools to perform duties, including formal training and documentation.
  • Diagnose and repair faulty production equipment independently using schematics and documentation.
  • Set up Thermoforming products on machinery to standards and clean tooling.
  • Perform work in a safe manner and use a fire extinguisher.
  • Resolve issues to get machines back in operation.
  • Keep areas free of debris and adhere to SQF/GMP standards.
  • Lead and train new hires.

Work Environment:

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to various weather conditions, hot, cold, humid, loud, and working near airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and forklift traffic.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent certification or experience.
  • Good math, reading, and writing skills.
  • Certifications: Powered Industrial Truck Certificate, Lockout/Tagout Certification.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
