Job Title: Master Scheduler

As a Master Scheduler at AnDek Staffing Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute production schedules that meet customer demands and sales forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Planning: Own and execute the master production schedule to establish the sequence and lead time of each operation.
  • Liaison between Sales and Operations: Serve as the liaison between Sales and Operations to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Inventory Management: Identify and drive opportunities to streamline production in measurable ways.
  • Communication: Plan and communicate production lead times for production.
  • Collaboration: Hold weekly meetings with operations before executing the schedule and commitments of new work orders.
  • ERP System Management: Execute and utilize the ERP system for active date management through manufacturing.
  • Project Management: Confer with department supervisors to determine the status of assigned projects.
  • Prioritization: Assign priorities as required to department supervisors to meet on-time delivery.
  • Problem-Solving: Expedite the needs of operations/materials that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions with appropriate support.
  • Reporting: Prepare production reports.
  • Process Improvement: Develop operational campaigns for bulk and FG's.
  • Inventory Strategies: Implement inventory strategies based on product forecasts and lead times.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Help implement lean manufacturing strategies.
  • Expedited Production: Expedite production activities as required to meet on-time delivery.
  • System Setup: Work to get the ERP/MRP system set up with planning/capacity.
  • Data Analysis: Develop data-oriented setups and solutions for optimal asset utilization.
  • Scheduling: Plan and prepare production schedules.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as assigned.

Work Experience Requirements:

  • ERP Experience: Experience with ERP systems. Implementation of capacity planning is a plus.
  • Manufacturing/Operations Experience: Manufacturing/Operations data and analytical experience.
  • Minimum Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Master Scheduler or Planner in a manufacturing environment.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
  • Preferred Experience: Preferred experience working in a nutritional supplement and/or food manufacturing company.
