Job Title:
Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.

Your primary focus will be on performing preventative and corrective maintenance on our fleet of forklifts, conveyor belts, shredders, and grinders. You will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing plastics extrusion machinery and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, bearing replacements, and belt replacements
  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure efficient equipment operation

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Basic hand tools, including a multi-meter and amp meter
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Ability to troubleshoot, assess, and repair equipment
  • Forklift experience
  • Ability to perform mechanical jobs, such as changing bearings, belts, pulleys, and oil in machinery
