Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Attendance: Schedule for a Housekeeping position is for 2nd Shift - Full-Time Monday - Friday, with rotating weekends, holidays, and shifts required.
  • Hourly Pay Rate: Hourly pay rate for 2nd shift is $17.45.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Ability to determine appropriate cleaning chemicals used to maintain various surfaces (incl. vinyl, painted, ceramic tile, metal, brick, wood, cork, concrete) as well as performing finishing techniques to protect/preserve various floors finishes.
  • Environmental Services: Ability to maintain hospital environment in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ability to perform specific cleaning tasks, including dusting horizontal surfaces, and maintaining assigned equipment for cleanliness, and reporting needed repairs to equipment, furniture, building, and fixtures.
  • Punctuality and Attendance: MUST be punctual and maintain regular attendance.
  • Reporting and Communication: Maintain assigned equipment for cleanliness and report needed repairs to equipment, furniture, building, and fixtures.
  • Company Policies and Procedures: Adhere to Company rules, technical procedures, and safety policies as may be communicated to him/her verbally or in writing and English.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as assigned.
Signing Bonus

Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: 6 to 12 months documented experience as a Housekeeper preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Working knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment, safety practices as related to Housekeeping/Janitorial Industry.
  • Language and Communication: Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Reading and Understanding: Ability to read and understand service requests, container labels, product information, and directions on cleaning chemicals and other material.
  • Background Check: Must be able to pass NCIC-III background check (to include fingerprinting), and yearly review thereafter.
