Gulfstream Staffing, Inc. is partnering with a rapidly growing Long Island-based Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) to fill a full-time Surgical Technologist opportunity near Hauppauge, NY. This esteemed organization boasts a visionary leadership team and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate will provide the surgical team with the necessary instruments, sutures, and equipment while maintaining strict aseptic technique. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and sterilizing instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Maintaining and updating instrument cards and surgeons' preference cards
• Assembling supplies and equipment for scheduled procedures

Requirements:

• Technical diploma from an accredited Surgical Technology Program
• Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) course completion
• Experience in Orthopedics
