Leidos, a leading provider of innovative technology solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Software Engineer to join its high-performing agile team. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing software solutions for a nationally significant cryptographic key management program.

Job Description:

The Sr. Software Engineer will perform software development activities as a member of an agile development team, including designing, developing, and debugging software programs. He/she will collaborate with other experts within the program and in the user community to design, develop, and debug existing software, and to design and develop enhancements that incorporate new capabilities into various components of the existing systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of twelve (12) or more years of prior relevant software engineering/development experience.
  • Demonstrated development experience with Java and expertise in one or more of the following: Java/JEE, Python, C/C++, SQL, SOAP, WSDL, WADL.
  • Experience with User Interface development, knowledge of databases and structures, and/or experience working with XHTML, HTML, XML, XSLT.
  • Strong understanding of sound software development principles and practices.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize personal tasking and communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Able to work independently and with a team in a fast-moving environment.
