Job Summary

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in Oakton, Virginia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with patients to obtain clinical history and informed consent for MRI examinations.
  • Assist physicians in performing MRI examinations using standard department protocols and sterile technique.
  • Utilize knowledge of IVs, heparin locks, and central line usage in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
  • Demonstrate patient safety by using side rails, braking mechanisms, and patient monitoring.
Requirements
  • Certification as an American Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the state of Virginia.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiography or MRI certification from ARMRIT or CAMRT.
