About the Role

The City of Sedro-Woolley is seeking a highly skilled City Engineer to join their Public Works Department. As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing complex engineering design and implementation services on various infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage consultants and participate in developing mid/long-range infrastructure plans and programs.
  • Provide engineering review and guidance on private developments and utility installations.
  • Act as Stormwater Permit Manager with minimal supervision.
  • Work closely with the Public Works Director and other team members to achieve departmental goals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong engineering design and implementation skills.
  • Experience in managing consultants and developing infrastructure plans.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
