Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Produce Clerk to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up and maintaining the produce department, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring product quality and selection. If you're a team player who thrives in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain the produce department to company standards
  • Provide friendly, courteous service to internal and external customers
  • Ensure product quality and selection
  • Perform receiving duties, including verifying orders, reporting shortages, and breaking down loads
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, storage area, and selling floor
  • Ensure a safe and secure work environment
Requirements
  • Ability to perform basic math and compute weights and measures
  • Consistently provide friendly, courteous service to internal and external customers
  • Work varied shifts, including night, weekends, and holidays
  • Conduct visual inspections of product and displays
  • Communicate effectively with others
  • Reach, lift, and maneuver objects up to 50 lbs. frequently
  • Push and pull fully loaded handtrucks and pallet jacks
  • Stand for long periods, walk, and move rapidly
