We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residence Hall Director to join our team at the University of Georgia. As a key member of our housing staff, you will be responsible for creating a safe, comfortable, and inclusive living environment for our students.
Key Responsibilities- Implement the residential curriculum by designing developmental experiences that promote student learning and growth.
- Recruit, select, train, and supervise student staff members, including graduate residents, resident assistants, and community services assistants.
- Advise community councils and manage funds to support student-led initiatives.
- Respond to student concerns, answer questions, and clarify policy through personal contact with students, parents, faculty, and administrators.
- Complete administrative duties in a timely and accurate manner, including data analysis and policy enforcement.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a master's degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in student affairs, housing, or a related field.
- Proven ability to work with diverse populations, including students, faculty, and staff.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and administrators.
