About the Role
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care at Providence Brookside Manor. As a CNA, you will work under the supervision of a Licensed Nurse (RN or LPN) to perform basic nursing care functions and other duties.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Perform limited nursing techniques, such as taking vital signs and administering medications.
- Observe and report resident conditions to the nursing team.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure residents receive comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Currently participating in a CNA training course.
- Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- In Compliance with the Department of Human Services (DHS), a criminal background check is required for this position upon hire.
Preferred Qualification
- One (1) year experience in a healthcare setting.
