Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Duties: Conduct interviews and evaluations for patients and their families. Complete comprehensive assessments, including psychiatric and social histories, to formulate diagnostic impressions and risk assessments. Document findings and recommendations in accordance with established policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Serve as a resource within the department, providing guidance and support to colleagues. Foster a collaborative environment by actively participating in interdisciplinary team discussions.
  • Professional Development: Maintain up-to-date knowledge and certifications in the field. Engage in continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills and meet licensure requirements.
  • Interdepartmental Communication: Work effectively across various departments, contributing to team initiatives and demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
  • Patient Interaction: Exhibit a high level of professionalism when engaging with patients, families, and healthcare staff.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in social work, nursing with a clinical specialty in psychiatry, or a related mental health/addictions field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in mental health or addiction services.
  • Current Maryland licensure as an APRN, LCSW-C, LCPC, RN-CSP, or clinical psychologist.
