ABOUT ARRIVE MEMPHIS:

ARRIVE Memphis is situated in the vibrant South Main Arts District, offering a unique boutique experience. This 62-room hotel features thoughtfully crafted, industrial-style guest rooms along with an all-day bakery and café, a lobby bar, and a lively shuffleboard sports bar. If you are enthusiastic about fostering genuine connections and excel in a fast-paced hospitality setting, we would love for you to be part of our team at ARRIVE Memphis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of hotel areas, including guest rooms, common spaces, and staff facilities.
  • Manage and update in-room materials such as menus and postcards.
  • Handle furniture and fixtures with care, adhering to cleaning protocols and using the correct products.
  • Perform room cleaning tasks as directed by supervisors, prioritizing based on guest check-ins.
  • Dispose of waste materials appropriately.
  • Carry out all necessary duties to maintain tidy guest rooms, including replacing used towels and cleaning surfaces thoroughly.
  • Restock bathroom supplies accurately and in the right locations.
  • Inspect and replace bathrobes as needed.
  • Change bed linens and prepare beds with fresh linens.
  • Maintain cleanliness in closets and door tracks in check-out rooms.
  • Ensure proper placement of hangers and extra bedding.
  • Dust and polish all furniture items.
  • Rearrange furniture as required to align with the designated layout.
  • Check drawers and doors in check-out rooms for cleanliness and to remove any guest belongings.
  • Inspect under beds and furniture for debris and remove as necessary.
  • Report any damages to furniture immediately to the supervisor.
  • Clean upholstered furniture thoroughly, including crevices and under cushions.
  • Dust frames, mirrors, and other decorative items.
  • Wipe down electronic devices and ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Maintain cleanliness of windows and surfaces, ensuring they are free from smudges.
  • Empty and clean ice buckets and mini bars.
  • Adapt to a flexible work schedule based on hotel occupancy needs.
  • Follow uniform standards consistently.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong understanding of and enthusiasm for the hospitality industry.
  • Commitment to guest service excellence.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and their appropriate use.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, with physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role.
  • Availability to work various shifts as needed.
