Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Public Relations and Donor Engagement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with public and donor relations activities, including research and writing grants, supporting the Fund Development and Special Events Department, and contributing to external and internal communications efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with public and donor relations activities, including research and writing grants
  • Support the Fund Development and Special Events Department
  • Contribute to external and internal communications efforts
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage stakeholders and promote the organization's mission
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations
  • 1-3 years of experience in public relations/marketing preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in desktop publishing programs and Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience in Canva or design software preferred
  • Experience in eTapestry/Blackbaud, Give Smart and/or other special event software preferred
