We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical/Oncology team at UP Health System - Marquette. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Document patient care given and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluate learning needs of patients and provide patient education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
