Restaurant Maintenance Technician Job Description

Atlas Franchise Management is seeking a skilled Restaurant Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our Jimmy John's restaurant's physical facility and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily restaurant maintenance and projects as assigned
  • Conduct general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Repair building, HVAC, equipment, plumbing, electrical, and other systems as necessary
  • Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
  • Assist in other equipment repair and maintenance projects as assigned by Facilities Manager and Director
  • Create new vendor relationships
  • Determine the cost effectiveness of outsourcing individual job orders
  • Supervise vendor performance
  • Check and update company's internal work order tracking program
  • Work with Store and Market management to determine needs of individual stores and/or markets
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated proficiency in HVAC, Ice Machines, Ovens, Cold Tables, and small appliances repair knowledge and repair skills
  • Ability to analyze a situation and decide whether it is best to repair or replace the equipment
  • Able to prioritize and use sound judgment and decision-making
  • Able to work well independently, with minimal supervision
  • Ability to follow defined routines and processes
  • Three to five years' experience in commercial maintenance
  • Must pass a Background Check
  • Maintain a valid driver's license
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
