About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Pulmonologist to join our team at Franciscan Pulmonary Associates at St. Joseph, part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, in Tacoma, WA.

This is an excellent clinical opportunity to practice in a collegial, multidisciplinary care environment with a large integrated health system. Our ideal candidate will be an exceptional clinician with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including robotic bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, EBUS, and advanced bronchoscopic procedures. They will work collaboratively with thoracic surgery, oncology, and pathology to promote a robust lung nodule program.

This includes working with APP's and nurse navigators to develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on current guidelines, comprehensive evaluation, accurate diagnosis, and concerns and goals.

Requirements

  • Medical Degree
  • Completed ACGME Residency and Fellowship Training (ABIM) including Interventional Pulmonology Fellowship Training.
  • Board Certified/Eligible Pulmonary Medicine (ABIM)
  • Washington State Medical License and DEA in good standing prior to start date
