Position Overview

Eligibility

This position is open to the public, specifically U.S. Citizens and Nationals.

Key Responsibilities

As a Food Service Attendant, you will perform essential food and beverage service tasks, along with related cleaning duties, including:
  • Ensuring cleanliness of linens, glassware, and silverware based on menu requirements.
  • Setting up designated dining areas for service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Preparing side tables with necessary items such as napkins, utensils, and beverages.
  • Restocking food and beverage supplies and conducting emergency cleanups as needed.
  • Cleaning tables and preparing them for incoming guests.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, including mopping and buffing floors.
  • Operating cash registers and managing personal cash funds.


Providing exceptional customer service is paramount. You will be expected to:
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and positive manner.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by checking on the quality of service.


Safety and Compliance

Adhere to safety protocols and utilize required safety equipment. Report any hazards or incidents to your supervisor immediately.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:
  • Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to follow instructions and perform basic manual tasks.
  • Understanding of personal hygiene standards.


Physical Requirements

This role involves prolonged standing, walking, and light lifting. Candidates should be able to lift objects up to 45 lbs independently.

Work Environment

Work is typically performed in various settings, with exposure to minor hazards such as slips and cuts.
