Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct various polysomnographic assessments and other diagnostic tests for sleep disorders under the supervision of the Sleep Lab Medical Director.
  • Ensure proper electrode placement and monitor patients during sleep studies, documenting observations and collecting data from multiple sources to report to the physician.
  • Administer CPAP titration and oxygen therapy as needed, and accurately score reports.
  • Utilize the AASM Inter Scorer Reliability program to score a minimum of 200 pages of sleep records monthly, with evaluations conducted by the AASM.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:
  • Completion of Technical or Vocational Training.
  • Registration as a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) is mandatory upon hiring.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hiring.
