We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our electrical contracting company, you will be responsible for installing electrical equipment and materials, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and adhering to industry codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Electrical Installations: Install all electrical equipment and materials per project requirements, National Electrical Code, and state and local authorities' regulations.
- Code Compliance: Apply and train to all codes, operating standards, practices, and procedures.
- Project Coordination: Study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.
- Contract Administration: Understand and adhere to contract documents, coordinate code requirements and inspections with local authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs).
- Material Management: Order and track materials for jobs, and perform advanced paperwork such as change orders and time and materials sheets.
- Customer Service: Respond to service calls, pages, and phone calls from internal and external customers using a provided cell phone.
- Additional Assignments: Perform additional assignments as required by the company's needs or directed by management.
- Experience: Minimum of five years of experience as an Electrician.
- Licenses and Certifications: Possess a state Journeyman's License and a valid driver's license.
