Essential Qualifications:

EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent is required; experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred.

Must hold a valid driver's license for the applicable state.

At least one year of driving experience is necessary.

Must have a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly is essential.

Must be capable of quickly and accurately evaluating and selecting among alternative courses of action.

Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure is required.

Job Duties:
Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner.


Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company standards, as required by scheduling, which may vary based on hotel needs.

Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag while on duty (as per brand standards).

Adhere to company standards and regulations at all times to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.

Greet guests in a welcoming manner.

Assist with loading and unloading luggage carts.

Load and unload the van with luggage.

Escort guests to their rooms upon request.

Check/store luggage for arrivals and departures using appropriate tags.

Open and close cab doors for arriving and departing guests.

Deliver messages to meeting rooms.

Maintain an updated list of local attractions, special events, and activities.

Keep a record of local transportation options, churches, sports arenas, etc.

Provide information, maps, and directions as needed.

Ensure the lobby reader board is accurate.

Maintain cleanliness in the motor entrance, front door, and lobby area.

Deliver flowers, packages, and messages to guest rooms.

Facilitate room changes as necessary.

Keep the interior and exterior of the van clean.

Drive the van according to scheduled runs.

Respond to console inquiries to assist guest services agents.

Show guest rooms and suites as needed, highlighting company amenities.

Perform other duties as assigned.
