We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Prosper Independent School District. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing speech and language services to students with communication disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' communication skills and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, including individual and group sessions, to help them achieve their communication goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students' communication needs.
- Participate in the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee to ensure students receive appropriate services and accommodations.
- Consult with colleagues and other professionals to share best practices and improve student outcomes.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Texas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Bachelor's degree and valid Texas Education Agency speech therapy certificate.
- One year of supervised clinical experience in speech-language pathology.
This position requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking, as well as the ability to lift and move students with physical disabilities. The Speech Language Pathologist may be exposed to biological hazards, bacteria, and communicable diseases.
