Curing Chamber Technician

SAFETY:

1) Comprehend and adhere to all safety protocols.

a) Up-to-date on all safety training requirements.

b) Utilizes all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) when required (steel-toed footwear, safety goggles, hearing protection).

2) Familiar with Lock Out Tag Out procedures for designated areas.

3) Execute responsibilities in accordance with OSHA regulations, policies, and procedures.

4) Complete General Plant Safety Training within the initial 8 weeks.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

1) Observe daily operations for any mechanical concerns.

2) Accountable for inspecting and lubricating each cart as it exits the curing chamber.

3) Ensure the appropriate level and flow of anti-efflorescence at the sponge roller station.

4) Maintain the Autoclave computer system to ensure proper product curing and timing within the autoclave chambers.

5) Acquire knowledge of all controls and functions of the TR's, RC's, and robots in the operational area.

EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:

1) Autoclave

3) Forklift

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1) Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 75 lbs.

2) Must be able to stand, twist, bend, reach, and stoop for extended periods.

3) Must be able to work in a dusty and noisy environment.

4) Must be able to function in a plant environment with extreme seasonal temperatures.
