We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the position of Operating Room Manager at Mass General Brigham. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership, with experience in managing surgical services and overseeing professional nursing practice. You will work closely with the Nursing Director and Associate Chief Nurse to develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the planning and management of surgical services to ensure quality patient care
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce complications
- Collaborate with the Nursing Director and Associate Chief Nurse to develop and implement policies and procedures
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
- Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field, or enrollment in program preferred
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required
- 3-5 years of progressive leadership development, management experience preferred
