Position Overview:
This Instrumentation and Controls Expert role is critical to the safe and efficient operation of the plant's process control systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in chemical process engineering and experience with DCS and PLC control systems.
Main Duties:
- Provide guidance on instrumentation and control devices to maintain the plant in safe operating order.
- Work on industrial process control systems in support of capital projects, best practices, plant production initiatives and reliability improvement efforts.
- Contribute to the development of new control systems and improvements to existing systems.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in process automation system or engineering.
- Strong knowledge of cyber security requirements needed to protect controls systems.
- Effective communicator across all levels of the organization.
