Job Opportunity: Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Worker to join our Public Works Department in Rolesville, North Carolina.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and upkeep of Town properties, including parks, athletic fields, and rights-of-way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and installations of equipment and facilities.
  • Operate a variety of vehicles and equipment, including trucks, tractors, and mowers.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of Town buildings and facilities.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments and teams to ensure the efficient delivery of services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
