Position Overview:
The role of Dog Bather is essential at Scenthound, providing swift and effective services that align with our high standards. If you possess experience in dog bathing or handling, this position may be ideal for you.

Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stamina to stand for extended periods.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to work in a smoke-free setting.

We seek a detail-oriented individual with a passion for maintaining the cleanliness and health of dogs. A successful Dog Bather is resilient, observant, patient, adaptable, and a compassionate dog lover. We are looking for a motivated team member eager to advance their career through our training program to become a certified groomer. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and clean dogs for grooming as per the service order.
  • Bathe, blow dry, clip/grind nails, clean ears, brush coats, clean teeth, and express glands.
  • Monitor and record the dog's health indicators using our S.C.E.N.T. Check app.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete services efficiently.
  • Assist colleagues and seek help when necessary to maintain schedule.
  • Ensure the safety of dogs and team members at all times.
  • Follow Scenthound's sanitation and cleaning protocols.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Scenter Manager.
