Job Summary

Lone Star College is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Electrical Technology Instructor to join our team. As an Electrical Technology Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching a variety of courses in electrical technology, including circuit analysis, electrical circuits, and electrical systems. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum, assessing student learning, and providing feedback to students.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical technology, excellent teaching and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and the community. Responsibilities

  • Teach electrical technology courses at a variety of times and locations
  • Develop and implement curriculum, assessments, and evaluations
  • Provide feedback to students on their progress and performance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and assessments
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives and activities


Requirements

  • Master's degree in electrical technology or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience teaching electrical technology courses
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and the community


Working Conditions

The work environment is a typical college setting with a variety of teaching and learning spaces. The instructor will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and responsibilities. The instructor will also be required to work effectively with students, colleagues, and the community to achieve the goals and objectives of the college.


Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is $58.05 per contact hour. The instructor will also be eligible for benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
