Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist Specialist

Focus Staff is a reputable travel healthcare professional staffing agency, seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a challenging 13-week contract in Bridgeport, Connecticut. This exceptional opportunity offers a competitive package with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience as an Interventional Radiographer, with proven independent decision-making skills, solid understanding of patient safety and precautions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cooperatively with other employees.
We are looking for someone who can maintain regular attendance, meet all local health regulations, and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment. Additionally, the successful candidate will have the physical and sensory requirements to perform the job duties, including walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing, and pulling.
In this role, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting documents, developing and maintaining skills in various clinical systems, monitoring equipment performance, and ensuring that relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam. You will also assist radiologists in performing exams, providing clinical excellence, and maintaining an adequate level of supplies required for patient care.
This is a contract/temporary/travel assignment, with 40 hours per week, 10 hour shifts, and a salary based on location and experience. The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $83,000, based on a 10-hour shift, 40-hour workweek, and a tax-free stipend amount.
