  • Prepare specimens for testing and perform routine laboratory tests
  • Conduct specialized laboratory tests, quality control, and troubleshoot errors
  • Communicate technical information to medical and lay professionals
  • Assist with training laboratory personnel in routine procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or relevant discipline
  • Certification as a Medical Technologist by ASCP BOC or equivalent
  • Primary source verification of successful completion required
  • One year of clinical experience for MT I, more than one year for MT II
