Job Purpose

The Retail Sales Associate is the primary point of contact for our retail and wholesale customers. This role is responsible for ensuring sales by determining customer needs, assisting in securing necessary parts, maintaining a personal and store image, and providing an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with NAPA customers
  • Greet customers and quickly understand their needs
  • Secure correct parts and resolve customer issues
  • Maintain the appearance of the store and displays
  • Assist in receiving and stocking incoming merchandise

Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License (required for some locations)
  • Previous retail sales experience (preferred)
  • GED (preferred)
  • Ability to operate a point-of-sale system and catalog
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, as well as the ability to multitask and be self-motivated
Working Conditions
  • Ability to stand and walk for the entire work shift
  • Capable of moving merchandise up to 60 pounds
  • Ability to move heavy equipment using moving aids
  • Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively
