The Project Engineer will be responsible for leading the project team in the development and implementation of construction schedules, cost estimating, and analysis activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field, with experience in bridge and steel structures.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain construction schedules, including reporting and monitoring activities.
- Perform cost estimating, analysis, and control activities.
- Work with the project team to develop unit man-hour and pricing data for work activities and monitor craft productivity.
- Provide project support for document control, contract management, and overall project coordination.
- Assist the Project Manager with required documents and information to support the successful completion of construction activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2-5 years' experience on bridge and/or steel structures, with proficiency in P6.
- Ability to learn construction practices as required for compliance with federal, state, and local codes; industry standards; company procedures; contractual requirements; etc.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with ability to effectively plan and organize to meet project deadlines.
