Job Summary

The Project Engineer will be responsible for leading the project team in the development and implementation of construction schedules, cost estimating, and analysis activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field, with experience in bridge and steel structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain construction schedules, including reporting and monitoring activities.
  • Perform cost estimating, analysis, and control activities.
  • Work with the project team to develop unit man-hour and pricing data for work activities and monitor craft productivity.
  • Provide project support for document control, contract management, and overall project coordination.
  • Assist the Project Manager with required documents and information to support the successful completion of construction activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-5 years' experience on bridge and/or steel structures, with proficiency in P6.
  • Ability to learn construction practices as required for compliance with federal, state, and local codes; industry standards; company procedures; contractual requirements; etc.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with ability to effectively plan and organize to meet project deadlines.
