We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Auditor to join our Corporate Audit Services team at Eli Lilly. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading audits to identify control risks and ensuring the effective implementation of risk management, control, and governance procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Scope and Design Audits: Develop and implement audit plans to identify control risks and ensure compliance with Corporate Audit Services' procedures and IIA standards.
- Lead Audit Execution: Supervise audit fieldwork and serve as a coach to team members throughout the audit process, ensuring high-quality, timely, and efficient execution.
- Communicate Audit Results: Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including the business and audit committees.
- Maintain Audit Skills: Stay up-to-date with current audit policies and practices, and share best practices with the team to drive process improvements.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: 5 or more years of relevant experience in business financial, internal controls, or compliance-related fields.
- Professional Certifications: Previous public accounting, internal audit, or compliance experience, with certifications such as CPA, CIA, CMA, CFE, CISA, or CIPP.
- Technical Skills: Experience with SOx (Finance) and working knowledge of SAP.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated critical thinking skills, excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate diverse teams.
- Business Acumen: Strong organizational/planning skills, ability to interact with all levels of management, and demonstrated accountability, decision-making, and high integrity.
