About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Health. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Utilize AIDET principles to communicate effectively with patients and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control policies, and radiation safety protocols.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness standards.
  • Report issues to management or appropriate departments, and assist in maintaining supplies inventory.
  • Ensure patient safety by screening individuals according to approved policies and procedures.
  • Obtain, verify, and maintain relevant documentation, including patient history, pregnancy status, and shielding precautions.
  • Maintain medical imaging records in accordance with department policies and standards.
Requirements
  • ARRT-R Radiography certification
  • Ability to perform high-quality radiology procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain a calm and helpful attitude, even under times of stress
  • Ability to take call, if required
